Sales Manager – DACH

Description

ECI is looking for a Sales Manager to increase company sales to new and existing customers in all relevant segments such as Service Providers, Utilities and Data Centers and focus on new business development in the DACH region. The Sales manager will report to the Head of Sales DACH & NL.

Responsibilities

  • Penetrate and develop new business in the region
  • Lead process from identifying opportunity to qualified lead and execution
  • Build effective relationships with existing and prospective accounts within territory
  • Prepare proposals to meet client needs and requirements including all technical details with the support of Sales Engineers
  • Involve and transfer successful projects to post sales organization
  • Develop strategy and increase business potential



Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related Business degree
  • Good understanding of the Telecommunications industry, markets and products
  • 5+ years of experience in Telecommunications Industry
  • Deep knowledge and experience in selling to Tier 1/Tier 2 traditional SP, Mobile operators, Cable companies/MSO’s- Must
  • Excellent relationship with customers and partners (telecom companies, carriers, mobile operators, cable companies )
  • Proven WDM experience with provable success in selling to SP in the region
  • Good presentation and written communication skills
  • Fluent English & German – must
